Exela Ventures was born with the unique purpose of providing authentic and engaging travel experiences to Guatemala that would result in the growth of social capital and awareness of a developing nation.

Formalizing an eight year tradition of hosting university groups and organizations, Exela Ventures presents itself as an alternative spring break/global service learning trip to university and graduate students.  Consider us to blast off your summer or an opportunity over winter break.

On such a trip, students will participate in a fully immersed, fully intensive tour to meet some of Guatemala's leading social entrepreneurs, activists, and small business owners.  We have hosted 9 groups already in 2009 with our new label and would like to see you on the roster as well! Our experience has resulted in a extensive network of Guatemala's movers and shakers. But our goal is not just to introduce you to them, but we want you to offer your insight and perspective.
