Exela Ventures was born with the unique purpose of providing authentic and engaging travel experiences to Guatemala that would result in the growth of social capital and awareness of a developing nation.

Formalizing an eight year tradition of hosting university groups and organizations, Exela Ventures presents itself as an alternative spring break/global service learning trip to university and graduate students.  Consider us as a meaningful way to spend your summer and winter break.

On such a trip, students will participate in a fully immersed, fully intensive tour to meet some of Guatemala's leading social entrepreneurs, activists, and small business owners.  We have hosted 9 groups already in 2009 with our new label and would like to see you on the roster as well! Our experience has resulted in a extensive network of Guatemala's movers and shakers. But our goal is not just to introduce you to them, but we want you to offer your insight and perspective in order to support communities that need your help most..
